Construction dust is not normal dust. It’s fine enough to settle into every surface in the house, including rooms nobody worked in, and it keeps reappearing for weeks if it isn’t removed properly the first time. We handle the full post-renovation clean: debris and leftover materials out, every surface wiped down including tops of doors and inside cabinets, paint spots and adhesive residue off glass and fixtures, vents and filters cleared, floors done last once the dust has settled. This is heavier work than a deep clean and it usually takes a full day or more depending on the scope of the job.

The Right Home Cleaning Products
Post-construction work needs equipment more than products: HEPA vacuums that hold fine dust instead of blowing it back into the air, microfiber that traps particles rather than pushing them around, and solvents that lift adhesive and paint without damaging what’s underneath. Using a household vacuum on drywall dust ruins the vacuum and spreads the problem.
New surfaces are easy to damage — fresh grout, uncured paint, unsealed stone, new hardwood finish. Tell us what was installed and when, and we’ll use what’s appropriate for each. If your contractor left instructions on caring for anything, pass them along and we’ll follow them.
